Bone Grafting

Bone grafting is a surgical procedure that uses transplanted bone to repair and rebuild diseased or damaged bones. A bone graft is a choice for repairing bones almost anywhere in your body including the jawbone.  Bone grafting is a common procedure that is frequently used for dental implants and other periodontal procedures.

Dentistry today often uses bone grafting material that is harvested from a medical facility called a “bone bank” in the United States.  Material purchased from these locations are very safe and produce great results without having to harvest from the patient.  It also allows for a much faster healing time.
